The Museum of the Memory of Victims of Repression is an important part of the university's cultural life and is dedicated to the compatriots who suffered unjustly during the repressions of the twentieth century. It was founded to preserve historical truth, strengthen national identity and uphold the value of human rights.
The museum's displays gather documents, archive materials and testimony that help students and visitors grasp history's hardest lessons. Its motto is Memory and Respect: a people that does not know its past cannot build its future.
