About the university
On the path of knowledge, science and culture — the intellectual centre of the Navoiy region.
Navoiy State University was established by Resolution PQ-378 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 31 October 2024 on the basis of Navoiy State Pedagogical Institute, founded in 1992. Today the university holds classical status and has become the region's leading centre of education and research.
The university runs around 40 degree programmes across the exact, natural, social and human sciences, economics, languages and medicine. Our aim is to educate accomplished specialists who serve the development of society and the region by combining modern knowledge, research and a rich set of values.
