Overall oversight of the university rests with the Board of Trustees. Day-to-day management is the rector's responsibility, and on research and academic matters the University Council acts as an advisory body.
Governing bodies
The university's senior governing and supervisory body. It sets the strategic direction and oversees the budget, financial activity and the rector's performance.
An advisory body chaired by the rector. It discusses curricula, research priorities, the nomination of staff for academic titles and other important academic matters.
The body coordinating research and academic methodology; it discusses dissertations and takes decisions on research matters. See: Academic Council.
The system for countering corruption and preventing conflicts of interest. It upholds integrity, transparency and the rule of law at the university.
